Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Hosts “Bright Future, New Beginning” Professional Readiness and Farewell Ceremony for Final-Year Students


On May 28, 2025, the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, through its Student Development Unit, organized a professional readiness program under the theme “Bright Future, New Beginning in the World of Work” in conjunction with the farewell ceremony for fourth-year nursing students (Class of 2021) who are about to graduate. The event took place at the Patthamaharachanukhro Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Faculty of Nursing, Salaya Campus.

In the morning session (08.30–12.00), participants attended a series of engaging and inspiring talks, including:

  • A lecture on “Understanding Differences: Generational Diversity” by Dr. Supat Saenjaemsai from the National Institute for Child and Family Development, Mahidol University.
  • A panel discussion, “Sharing Experiences from the Ward,” featuring distinguished alumni of the faculty: Ms. Nareerat Phummala, Ms. Petchrat Angkasurapan, and Mr. Trapoom Yodpa.
  • A presentation on “Membership Benefits of the Siriraj Nursing Alumni Association” by Ms. Puangthong Tanwongwan, President of the Siriraj Nursing Alumni Association.
  • The “Mahidol University Alumni Engagement and Career Support Services Roadshow” organized by the Division of Student Affairs, Mahidol University.
  • A lecture on “Financial Planning” by Ms. Chanita Warayudamrongkul, Director of the Agency Division, Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance Public Company Limited.

In the afternoon session (13.00–15.00), the farewell ceremony commenced, presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, along with the Administrative Teams and faculty members who joined to extend congratulations and deliver words of encouragement to the graduating students. Mr. Supakit Chatphimai served as the master of ceremonies.

The atmosphere was filled with warmth and a strong sense of community as the faculty, professors, and students gathered for the ceremony. Highlights included a traditional “Baisri Su Khwan” blessing dance performed by second-year students, and a “Sai Sin” wrist-tying ritual, symbolizing good fortune and support for the graduates as they embark on their professional journey.

This event reflected the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University’s commitment to nurturing graduates who are well-prepared in terms of skills, mindset, and resilience as they confidently and competently transition into their careers.
