On 23 June 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Supapak Petrasuwan, Associate Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication, Associate Professor Dr. Arowan Sriyuktasuth, Associate Dean for Graduate Studies, and Assistant Professor Dr. Thitipong Tankamphuan, Associate Dean for Research, warmly welcomed a delegation from the United Kingdom. The delegation comprised Dr. Melanie Morris, Associate Dean for Education; Dr. Pauline Paterson, Associate Professor, Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology & Co-Programme Director, MSc in Climate Change; and Mr. John-George Nicholson, Head of Strategic Education Office, from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
The meeting took place at Chanthana Nilwarangkul Conference Room, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Salaya campus, to discuss academic cooperation regarding short-course training programs, research collaborations, and faculty and student exchanges between the institutions.
This discussion aligns with the Faculty of Nursing’s vision to advance global health knowledge and scholarship by fostering international educational networks and conducting high-quality research. The faculty recognizes the importance of promoting learning and innovation in healthcare, as well as enhancing the capacities of both faculty members and students through collaboration with leading global institutions.
