Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University Hosts “Nursing Education Quality Fair” — Thailand’s First Nursing Education Quality Expo


On 20 June 2025, the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, in collaboration with the Nursing Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, hosted the inaugural “Nursing Education Quality Fair”. The event showcased achievements in nursing education quality and served as a platform for knowledge exchange among nursing educational institutions nationwide. The fair aimed to elevate the standards of Thai nursing education to meet international benchmarks through development in education, research, academic services, and academic support.

The event took place at the Phatthararamharach Karun Conference Room, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, and was attended by 270 executives, faculty members, and staff from both public and private nursing institutions.

The opening ceremony was graced by Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University; Professor Dr. Siri-on Sinthu, President of the Nursing Association of Thailand; and Assistant Professor Dr. Lertyos Triratnapiboon, Assistant Rector for Quality Development, Mahidol University.

A highlight of the event was a special lecture titled “How to Use AI to Work Faster” delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Panrasri Rittiprawat from the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University, an expert in artificial intelligence technology. The lecture focused on AI applications, especially in education, enabling participants to adapt and utilize technology smartly in the digital era.

Another key activity was the presentation of quality improvement projects by academic and support personnel from across the country. This allowed participants to share knowledge and best practices to comprehensively enhance education quality, services, and institutional management. 

 This event not only showcased the capabilities of each institution but also fostered inspiration and critical collaborative networks to jointly drive Thai nursing education forward, keeping pace with global healthcare transformations.
