On Wednesday, 4 June 2025, at 5:00 PM, Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of the “3rd Genetic Counseling Training Program, 2025” via Zoom. The program began with a report by Associate Professor Dr. Atcharaporn Sihirunwong, Program Chair, and was honored by remarks from Professor Dr. Apichart Asavamongkolkul, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital; Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Advisor to the Faculty; Professor Dr. Manop Pithukpakorn, Head of the Center for Medical Genomics; and Assistant Professor Dr. Chanin Limwong, Director of the Thalassemia Center.

A total of 45 participants—including 12 physicians, 19 professional nurses, and 14 medical technologists—from institutions across the country joined the training to enhance their competencies in medical genetics.
