Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University Participates in the Closing Ceremony of the 13th Stroke Nursing Program, Fostering Leaders for Transforming Thailand’s Health System


On June 27, 2025, at the Chalermprakiat 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Prasat Neurological Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Saranya Khositmongkol, representative of the Faculty of Nursing and co-chair of the program, attended the closing ceremony and presented certificates to graduates of the 13th cohort of the Specialized Nursing Program in Stroke Care. The ceremony was presided over by Clinical Associate Professor Dr. Tanin Vechapinan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Medical Services, and was also attended by nursing executives, distinguished faculty members, and honored guests in a warm and respectful atmosphere.

This program is a collaboration between the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University and the Prasat Neurological Institute, Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health—the main host institution. The training has been conducted continuously since 2013 and is recognized as Thailand's first program aimed at enhancing nurses' competencies in holistic stroke care. Now in its 13th year, the program was held from March 3 to June 27, 2025, with a total of 50 nurses from hospitals across the country completing the training. This highlights national-level collaboration aimed at sustainably improving the quality of stroke nursing care.
