On September 1, 2025, the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, together with the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia (RILCA), Mahidol University, organized an international academic seminar under the theme “1st RILCA-NS Talk: Achieving and Sustaining Outcomes: What is Implementation Science and Why is it Important.” The event was held at Room 211, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, and was also conducted online via Zoom Meeting. On this occasion, the seminar was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, and Associate Professor Dr. Nantiya Doungphummes, Director of the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia, Mahidol University, who jointly delivered opening remarks and welcomed the guest speaker. The seminar aimed to provide a platform for knowledge exchange and discussion on developing academic collaboration in creating a joint interdisciplinary course on “Implementation Science.” The event featured a special lecture by Professor Rohit Ramaswamy, Ph.D., MPH, Graduate Diploma (Biostatistics), an expert in Implementation Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, who shared his academic insights and experiences on effectively and sustainably translating knowledge into practice within health and service contexts.
This event marked another significant step in advancing international academic collaboration, promoting teaching, research, and the application of knowledge in real-world contexts effectively and sustainably.
