Mahidol University Faculty of Nursing Conducts Workshop on “Waste Sorting: Turning Waste into Wealth” to Promote Sustainable Environmental Awareness


On November 7, 2025, the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, organized a hands-on training workshop titled “Waste Sorting: Turning Waste into Wealth”, aimed at enhancing knowledge and best practices in proper waste management while encouraging the creation of value from reusable materials. The session featured expert speakers by Ms. Manuschai Pradermchai Head of Landscape and Environment Section and Ms. Sriwittra Pintobtaeng from the Division of Physical Systems and Environment, Mahidol University. The workshop was held at Room 214, Faculty of Nursing (Salaya Campus), and was broadcast live online to allow staff and students from all campuses to participate. Throughout the training, participants gained valuable insights into waste separation techniques for daily life, creative recycling methods, and the “Waste Has Value” concept fostering awareness of how effective waste management can reduce overall waste volume, generate additional income, and promote responsible resource utilization. This initiative reflects the Faculty of Nursing’s strong commitment to advancing the “Green University” mission and cultivating sustainable environmental consciousness within the Mahidol community.
