The Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, serving as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Development (WHOCC), is hosting the Interprofessional Education (IPE): Training for Trainers on 16 and 23 May 2026, bringing together nursing educators to strengthen their capacity in interprofessional teaching and learning.
The training includes six participants from two countries, Thailand and Indonesia, fostering regional exchange and collaboration in interprofessional education.
The program focuses on key concepts of interprofessional education, including collaborative practice, curriculum development, and assessment design. Participants engage in interactive sessions, group discussions, and hands-on activities covering patient safety, cultural diversity, and IPE teaching and evaluation methods.
Led by an experienced faculty team, the training emphasizes practical application, with participants presenting group work and receiving continuous feedback. By the end of the program, participants are expected to develop IPE learning activities, assessment plans, and curriculum approaches to enhance team-based healthcare education.
This initiative reflects the Faculty’s commitment, as a WHOCC, to advancing interprofessional education and strengthening collaborative practice in health systems across the region.
