Master of Nursing Science Program


Admission Requirements

Plan A (1)

  1. Hold a Bachelor's degree in nursing or certificate equivalent to Bachelor's degree in nursing and have nursing and midwifery professional license.
  2. Receive a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50.
  3. English proficiency:
    - an IELTS score of 5, or
    - a TOEFL ITP score with a minimum of 480, or
    - a TOEFL IBT score with a minimum of 54, or
    - a MU GRAD TEST score with a minimum of 60.
  4. Have at least TWO year working experience as a professional nurse/nurse instructor.
  5. Pass the Nursing Specialty Course related to adult and gerontological nursing (at least 4 months) with the approval of the Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  6. Foreign candidates must be qualified to meet the minimum standard of Thai language proficiency practices for foreigners who continue to study Thai at the Mahidol University
  7. Experience in research, certified by the head of the research project, or have at least a published health research paper

Any case that is NOT included by the criteria above shall be under the consideration of the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Plan A (2)

  1. Hold a Bachelor's degree in nursing or certificate equivalent to Bachelor's degree in nursing and have nursing and midwifery professional license.
  2. Receive a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50.
  3. English proficiency:
    - an IELTS score of 5, or
    - a TOEFL ITP score with a minimum of 480, or
    - a TOEFL IBT score with a minimum of 54, or
    - a MU GRAD TEST score with a minimum of 60.
  4. Have at least ONE year working experience as a professional nurse/nurse instructor.
  5. Foreign candidates must be qualified to meet the minimum standard of Thai language proficiency practices for foreigners who continue to study Thai at the Mahidol University
